The ultimate success is obviously satisfaction. Hence without satisfaction one is a soul less body or a breathless corpse. Its no use to succeed in life without happiness or satisfaction. After attaining all the power and perfection, if one likes to commit suicide, what use is that? If attaining what you aim is success then satisfaction is, enjoying what you have achieved. The success without satisfaction is a failure.
The recipe for success should be used in moderation and not taken to its extreme to avoid suffering on the plane of satisfaction. Success and satisfaction are like the two wheels of a cart and any unequal radial dimensions are bound to overturn the cart.
